Seesaw Design

A balanced perspective

Stokehouse

October 21, 2010. Posted by admin Comments 1

Seesaw has been so busy lately and one of our favourite new jobs is the re-brand of the iconic Melbourne dining institution, the Stokehouse.

Together with executive chef Anthony Musarra and Frank and Sharon van Haandel, Seesaw assisted in refreshing their brand so to reflect the glamourous and sophisticated renovated interior.

The new website (by .com media) is launching soon but please pop in for a champagne on the balcony to truly experience it for yourself.

Stokehouse is located at 30 Jacka Blvd, St Kilda.

A sneak peak of a few items more coming soon…

Oh Pretty Please.

One of the great projects we have been working on lately is the website for new club/venue Pretty Please.

We were lucky enough to get invited to the opening party but do you want to check it out yourself? Then head on down to 61C Fitzroy Street and look for the big fancy pink door. Oh and did we mention it is open until 7am ? Yep, liver is aching just thinking about it.

Oh and check out the amazing line up announcement here

Bad Habits.
Good Manners.

Concrete Robot

August 27, 2010. Posted by admin Comments 2

So we have been working on a re-brand of a Dentec – a boutique dental and medical equipment supply and installation company. Think designer fit-outs and crazily futuristic chairs. Not a fake potplant or a poster of a waterfall insight.

We asked the ever talented Concrete Robot to create a series of visualisations that would be utilised in both web and printed collateral and animated for online and promotional purposes. The result was a photorealistic, modernist world where fillings don’t hurt and you don’t break into a cold sweat thinking about walking through the front door.

We just got the brochure back from print today and will post pics soon – well done Warren!

Beer Pong

August 2, 2010. Posted by Anita Comments 1

From what I can remember I believe Friday night was a success. The trophy received a mullet, much beer was drunk and bats were piffed at boys. All in all a rather hilarious evening had by all.

Congrats to Steve Gourlay for taking out the prize. Big ups to Noush for judging. Commiseration’s to Rat Myley for losing in the last round. Happy birthday to Andy for Saturday and thanks once again for all at Seesaw for making it awesome.

Goodness gracious, who would have thought that we would actually put work on this blog. Wonders never cease.

We are slowly trying to edit the new folio images so more will be posted soon, but for now here is a pretty little one for makeup artist Alicia Smith. A gorgeous little yardage mixed with a silver foil…. lovely!

So things at Seesaw have been mighty exciting to say the least. A fantastic new job in the pipeline, a brand new gourmet food packaging job starting and now a new winery client. Great times ahead.

So thanks to Mr Steve Gourlay we are finally getting our folio in order and here are couple of wine projects we have had the pleasure on working on.

Cheers!
